Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2025
1. What is FixTogether?
FixTogether is an online tool that helps two people describe a situation in writing and receive a calmer, AI-generated explanation of what happened and possible next steps. It is designed to reduce tension and help people understand each other better.
FixTogether is not therapy, not emergency support, and not legal advice.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By using FixTogether, visiting our website, or purchasing a Fix, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use FixTogether.
If you use FixTogether on behalf of another person (for example, a family member, a partner, or someone you work with), you confirm that you have the right to share information about the situation with us.
3. Who can use FixTogether
FixTogether is intended for adults who are legally able to enter into an agreement. If you are under the minimum age in your country, you must only use FixTogether with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
4. What FixTogether does – and doesn’t do
FixTogether can help you:
- Put your thoughts and feelings into words.
- Share your side of a situation without shouting or attacking.
- Receive a calmer message that tries to be fair to both sides.
FixTogether will not:
- Tell you who is “right” or “wrong” in a legal sense.
- Provide psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support.
- Replace a lawyer, a doctor, a mediator, or a therapist.
If you or someone else is in danger, in a violent situation, or thinking about self-harm, do not use FixTogether. Contact local emergency services or a trusted professional immediately.
5. AI-generated content
The explanations and suggestions you receive are generated with artificial intelligence. They are based on the information you and the other person provide. Because of this:
- We cannot guarantee that the result will be perfect or complete.
- You remain fully responsible for how you use the message and what you decide to do with it.
- You should always use your own judgment and, when needed, ask advice from a qualified professional.
6. Your responsibilities
By using FixTogether, you agree to:
- Share only information that is truthful from your point of view.
- Avoid insults, hate speech, harassment, or threats in what you write.
- Respect the privacy of the other person and not misuse their data.
- Not use FixTogether to break the law or encourage illegal activities.
7. Payments and refunds
FixTogether may charge a fee to start a Fix. Prices are shown before you confirm payment. Payment is processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe or similar), and we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Because FixTogether starts working on your situation as soon as payment is confirmed, and AI processing cannot be “returned”, purchases are generally non-refundable, unless required by local law or unless we explicitly say otherwise.
8. Privacy
Our use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using FixTogether, you agree that we may process your data as explained there.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the FixTogether website – including the brand, logo, layout, text, and design – belongs to FixTogether or its licensors. You may not copy, sell, or reuse our content without written permission, except where the law clearly allows it.
The messages and texts you write in FixTogether remain yours, but by submitting them you grant us a limited right to process them in order to run the service, improve our models, and comply with law.
10. Service availability
We try to keep FixTogether available and working smoothly, but we cannot promise that it will always be online, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service at any time, for any reason.
11. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, FixTogether is provided “as is”, without any guarantees. We are not responsible for:
- decisions you make based on an AI-generated message or explanation;
- any loss, damage, or conflict that results from your use (or inability to use) FixTogether;
- actions taken by the other person after receiving a FixTogether message.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you continue to use FixTogether after changes are published, you agree to the new version.
13. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, you can contact us at:
